oined Coronado Dentistry in July 2020 working with Dr. Hutchison (Dr. Phillip’s predecessor). Alex is a certified dental assistant with almost 10 years of experience. She is recognized for providing top notch customer service with efficient dental assistance. Alex is dedicated to providing comfort and safety to all patients and going the extra mile.

Alex enjoys family time with her husband Angel and son Noah (born 2017). They love being active, eating, and watching horror movies (without Noah). She also enjoys being pool side w/ a tajin rim strawberry margarita.

Education & Training: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) from UEI College, 10+ years experience in the dental field.

Shelli has been with Coronado Dentistry since 2022. With over 40 years in dentistry, each day at our practice she strives to provide excellent patient care and supports our dental team.

Outside of the office, Shelli loves spending time with her husband, family, and fur baby “Bells”. She is also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys biking, hiking, snowmobiling, swimming, golf, and relaxing with a good hallmark movie. But nothing compares to the joy she receives from serving her community and attending Saint Rose of Lima Church.

Education: Business & Dental Management. Southwestern College, Apollo College, and multiple continuing education courses at USC.

Monique was born and raised here in beautiful San Diego. After obtaining her RDA license in 2016, she has been working in the front-office for the last six years and started with Coronado Dentistry in 2022. Her favorite part of the job is forming relationships with our wonderful patients and seeing their smiling faces.

Monique most enjoys spending time with her senior dachshund named Marleau, traveling, and trying out new restaurants in San Diego’s delicious food scene!

Education & Training: RDA License, CPR/BLS, certifications in Law & Ethics, Pit and Fissure, Radiology, Infection Control, and Child Development, and a scholarship award from San Diego County Dental Assistants Society.

Marina has been a member of our practice for 17 years, providing quality patient care and takes pride in being a part of a caring dental team. With experience as a dental hygienist instructor, she brings high quality care in a gentle and veteran manner.
