Dr. Kim grew up in Portland, Oregon, and ventured to the East Coast to earn her bachelor's degree from University of Rochester. After experiencing the harsh winters of upstate New York, she quickly found herself drawn back to the Pacific Northwest, where she pursued her dental education at Oregon Health & Science University.

She further advanced her training in the Bay Area through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the joint UCSF/NYU program, where she worked closely one-on-one with specialists across all disciplines of dentistry to develop expertise in treating complex and comprehensive cases. Dr. Kim is passionate about continuing education and consistently takes advanced courses to ensure she provides the highest quality care for her patients.

Dedicated to creating a positive dental experience, Dr. Kim is committed to making every patient feel comfortable and well cared for. She believes in educating patients and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs and goals.

Outside the office, Dr. Kim loves to dance and previously performed on competitive dance teams as well as for a WHL hockey team. She also enjoys other sports, beach days, and exploring new restaurants and bakeries. As a newcomer to San Diego, Dr. Kim is excited to discover everything the city has to offer while building lasting relationships with her patients and community!
